In order to successfully remove Candida/parasite/yeast infections or any fungal infection within the body these destructive organisms must be destroyed in the digestive system first and then within the blood, tissues and internal organs. Usually in an otherwise healthy body there are small amounts of yeasts and other negative microorganisms in the intestinal area which are basically harmless. However, when the immune system and other defenses are compromised or biologically harmed, these microorganisms van multiply rapidly and cause problems with digestion, elimination, and further weaken the bodily function. If unchecked, these parasites will continue to grow and multiply and along with the toxins they produce will then enter the bloodstream and other organs, even the brain.
As mentioned, some yeast is normally found in the intestinal tract, though we were born yeast free. There is a constant struggle for dominance between the beneficial bacterial flora and the Candida. The main yeast species present in humans is Candida albicans. Candida is a strong, invasive parasite that attaches itself to the intestinal walls and becomes a permanent resident of the internal organs. Candida may invade the tissues f the mouth, GI tract, vaginal area, urinary tract, prostate gland, skin, fingernails and toenails. Eventually Candida/fungus migrates throughout the body, even infiltrating the brain. Most if not all Alzheimer patients as well as Parkinson patients have Candida and fungus nails on the feet as well as the hands. This is a sign that the yeast/fungus is throughout the body.
It is estimated that over 30 million women as well as millions of men and children suffer health problems and discomfort due to a serious Candida/yeast condition. It is difficult to avoid yeast in our lives. It is present in baked foods, found on exposed surfaces and even in the air we breathe. Normally, a healthy immune system controls Candida levels. However, certain circumstances such as antibiotic use, steroid use, birth control pills, cortisone, and excessive sugar intake can cause Candida overgrowth. Only when yeast proliferates and becomes over dominant in various parts of the body does it begin to present a serious health problem.
As yeast cells grow and reproduce rapidly they produce toxic substances and waste. These toxins further weaken the bodies’ immune response. High levels of yeast toxins create exaggerated sensitivities, so allergic reactions are more common. One of the almost 100 known toxins produced by yeast cells is called acetaldehyde. This poison is transformed into ethanol and converted by the liver to alcohol. This depletes the body of 2 absolutely essential minerals – magnesium and potassium. Acetaldehyde produces symptoms of being drunk, disoriented and dizzy. Even panic attacks, anxiety, depression and headaches are caused by yeast overgrowth. Acetaldehyde destroys enzymes needed for cell energy and caused the release of free radicals which increase the aging process.
All immunological diseases and infectious conditions are caused by or worsened by the presence of yeast. Allergic reactions to foods and environmental substances would be greatly diminished if the yeast and yeast toxins were eliminated. Fatigue is probably the major symptom of candidiasis. Due to the yeast toxins the digestive tract is weakened. The absorption of proteins and minerals is weakened and in turn the production of enzymes and hormones is impaired. Also, the food you eat is often utilized by the yeast parasite instead of your own cells. Iron deficiency anemia and reduced levels of B12 and folic acid are serious repercussions of yeast infections. The result of this imbalance is chronic fatigue.
A yeast infected GI tract contributes to indigestion, bloating, heartburn, cramps, constipation, diarrhea, colitis, and ulcers. Poor absorption and digestion due to yeast overgrowth is widespread. Irritability, mood swings, headaches/migraines, brain fog, poor memory, MS-like symptoms, depression, hormonal imbalances, paranoia, ADD/ADHD, learning disabilities, not being in total control of one’s actions and knowing the right thing to do but not being able to do it, are some of the manifestations of yeast infections. Many psychiatric issues are nothing more than the result of candidiasis.
Vaginal infections, menstrual difficulties, impotence and infertility, prostatitis, rectal itch and urinary tract infections can be the result of Candida.
Respiratory infections, asthma, post-nasal drip, chronic coughs, and bronchitis, even ear-aches may be related to Candida.
Skin conditions such fungal infections, rashes, diaper rash, hives and acne are often due to yeast overgrowth.
Beside the use of certain drugs (mentioned above), prolonged illness, poor nutrition, stress and lack of exercise can all contribute tin yeast infections. High intake of simple refined sugar even honey causes yeast to proliferate; Refined white flour products do the same.
There are some basic solutions for the control and destruction of Candida and other parasites. Controlling and eliminating other parasites such as amoebas actually has an important role in treating candidiasis. Treating both members of a marital couple is essential as yeast and other organisms are transmitted back and forth during relations. Using water filtration units, cooking meats well, avoid eating out, is all helpful. Knowing what is in the food you eat, and reading labels, avoiding sugar and yeast is necessary. Introducing an abundance of beneficial bacteria such acidophilus, bifidus and lactobacillus is essential. Using antifungal agents whether pharmaceutical like diflucan or natural like oregano oil is essential. Using vitamins and herbs to boost the immune system and further balance the milieu to protect against yeast and parasite overgrowth is all very important.
